葫芦影业鈥檚 disc golf course is a 9 hole, 1696-feet, par-27 course that runs throughout the campus. The course features a variety of hole distances and settings, providing challenges for beginner and advanced players alike.听

Teeing Off听

The first tee box is located directly in front of Katahdin Hall. Tees markers are flat stones located in-ground with markings (circles) that designate each hole number. Scorecards/course map and disc sets are available for check-out to students, faculty, and staff. Players are welcome to use their own discs to play.听

Rules and Policies听

Overview听

Each hole begins at the tee听
Subsequent throws are made from where the disc comes to rest (lie)听
Hole is finished when disc is supported by chains or basket听
Player farthest from target throws first听
Lowest score from previous hole tees off first听

Basic Rules of Play听

Maximum of 4 players to a group听
At least one foot on tee for first throw听
On fairway, throw from a spot in line with the target and 12鈥� behind the lie听
A run up and follow through are always allowed except听
within 10 yards of the target听
Casual relief should be taken from an unsafe lie听
Do not attempt to retrieve discs lost in ponds, roofs, trees, or other hazard areas.听

Safety and Etiquette听

Avoid making loud noises or sudden movements while someone else is playing听
Stand behind the player who is throwing until the throw is complete听
Allow faster groups to play through听
Players must yield the right of way to pedestrian and other activities听
If pedestrians are present, players must call out a verbal warning of 鈥渇ore鈥� before throwing disc听
Remove discs landing in roadways quickly and drop to nearest part of course听
Do not vandalize targets, signs, equipment, and landscaping听
